When Kelsey partied, she didn't fit in. When she sought out recovery for a substance use disorder at the age of 18, she felt she didn't fit in there, either. Then she met a woman her age who shared her experience.

"She was feisty like me, but she'd maintained recovery." That's what it took for Kelsey to dedicate herself to her own personal growth—feeling seen and understood. Today in her work, she's that person for other people.
