Jamison Advocates for Medication-Assisted Recovery

Medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD) was one tool that supported Jamison's early recovery.



Even within the recovery community, Jamison felt judged for taking a medication that's proven to work. Looking back, she wishes that she'd had a support group in her area where she could talk about that experience.

 

"That would have been a huge thing during that time if I could have found a place like that." Unfortunately, many Georgians feel isolated by the stigma that comes with MOUD. Get the facts and help spread the word—MOUD is an effective treatment for opioid use disorder.
